Description

Prerequisites: AGA 114, AGA 224and CHE 1004or CHE 114. Basic principles of animal nutrition and the function of anatomy directly related to digestion, absorption, and metabolism of the various food nutrients; characteristics of the six classes of nutrients; measurement of body energy needs; methods of processing and evaluating feeds; ration formulation.
