Prerequisites: BIO 114and eitherBIO 124or BIO 233. All prerequisite courses require a grade of C- or better. The study of interrelationships among organisms and their environment. The course is designed to promote an understanding and appreciation of basic ecological principles. Topics include population genetics, distribution, abundance, dynamics, growth, natural selection, and species abundance, diversity, and energy/nutrient flow. Three hours of lectureand one two-hour laboratory each week. Spring
