Prerequisites: BIO 114and eitherBIO 124or BIO 233. All prerequisite courses require a grade of C- or better. An introduction to the study of processes that affect the distribution of genetic variation of natural populations. Topics include gene flow, genetic drift, origins of biological diversity, speciation, variation in populations, natural selection, adaptation, inheritance, population genetics and their roles in evolutionary theory.
