Description
Prerequisites: BIO 233and CHE 215with a grade of C- or better. Principles of cell life at the molecular level. Includes biological concepts common to all eukaryotic cells and special topics in stem cell biology, apoptosis and cancer. Laboratory includes basic molecular techniques, animal tissue culture and fluorescent microscopy.Three hours of lecture, and one three-hour laboratory each week. Spring
