Welcome to CJS 291 Criminal Justice Training.  I am so glad you have chosen to work on your physical abilities and fitness in preparation for a demanding career.  

For those who are interested, below are the FIT FOR DUTY standards.

FIT FOR DUTY

Run - 1.5 mile run in 12:34 minutes or less

Push-ups - Minimum 43 (no time limit)

Sit-ups - Minimum 46 (in 1 minute)

300 meter run in 55 seconds or less

Vertical jump – 21 inches

Bench Press - 1 lift 1.06% of body weight
