Description
Credit Hours: 3. Prerequisite: Permission of the instructor. This three-credit course instructs students in writing center and composition theory and pedagogy in order to make them effective respondents to the thinking and writing of others. Students keep journals, write analytical papers, explore writing across the curriculum, and read and critique professional literature related to tutoring writing. The emphasis is on observing and practicing one-to-one conferences with student writers. Spring
