*Office hours are first come, first served. If you would like to meet with me, please plan to come to my office. If students are waiting, I will limit appointments to 10 minutes. If your window to meet with me is limited by class or a campus workstation to 30 minutes or less, you may reserve and appointment. Such reservations must be made least 24 hours in advance. Note: You are allowed to request time off from your workstation to meet with a professor. I expect you to make such a request before asking to meet with me outside of office hours.

Description

Prerequisite: ENG 103 or ENG 104 (with a minimum grade of C-). Focuses on mastering skills of written argumentation and analyzes rhetorical strategies used by American writers in the quest for independence, equality, justice, and the common good. A writing intensive course. Fall/Spring
