Description
The course is a study of the causes and consequences of the American Revolution. It traces its ideological origins to an earlier English radicalism, considering how English conceptions of liberty and republicanism inspired American independence. Students will also contemplate how the revolution culminated in the election of 1800 and inspired Caribbean and Latin American revolutionaries.Spring-Odd
