Personal Biography

Dr. Stacy McNeill has taught college courses in the communication field for three decades, and has served in administrative roles for one decade. Dr. McNeill is the current Dean of Academic Enrichment at C of O. She holds a master's degree in Communication, with an emphasis in Organizational Communication, from the University of Arkansas-Fayetteville and a doctorate in Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis from the University of Missouri. Dr. McNeill teaches courses in communication law, interpersonal communication, and public speaking. She is a member of Lambda Pi Eta, a national communication honor society.

Description

This course is designed to help students adopt the attitude and skills needed to learn well at the college level.Topics include the development of a learning mindset, time management, note-taking, overcoming test anxiety, and conflict management.This course does not count toward the required 120hours for graduation. May be taken up to four times for term credit. Fall/Spring
