Personal Biography

Dr. Stacy McNeill has taught college courses in the communication field for three decades, and has served in administrative roles for one decade. Dr. McNeill is the current Dean of Academic Enrichment at C of O. She holds a master's degree in Communication, with an emphasis in Organizational Communication, from the University of Arkansas-Fayetteville and a doctorate in Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis from the University of Missouri. Dr. McNeill teaches courses in communication law, interpersonal communication, and public speaking. She is a member of Lambda Pi Eta, a national communication honor society.

Description

Learning Strategies is designed to help students develop an enriched understanding of the learning process and acquire essential academic success skills. The course provides students with tools and insights to be more effective and engaged, promotes valuable use of campus resources, and functions as a student support network. Further, the course encourages students to examine barriers and identify solutions to college transition challenges. May be taken up to four times for term credit. Fall/Spring
