Prequisite: MPR 243 This course deals with the history and development of radio as a medium. The course will cover such topics as the physics of bandwidth, the discovery and invention of radio, the role that historical events have played in the currently regulatory enviornment, and the changes in technology that have influenced the development of radio and its market.
