Description

Prerequisite: Permission. An intensive leadership development course required of all candidates enrolledor seeking enrollment into the Bobcat Guard Officer Leadership Development Program (GOLD).The course is conducted at a variety of Army installations across the country and may last anywhere from 10 to 30 weeks depending on what military occupational specialty the candidate is assigned upon enlistment in the Army. Training will be conducted seven days a week and requires active student participation.Enrolled students receive compensation for travel, lodging and food, plus a salary.Students who attend this training are considered for further participation in the GOLD program.Occurs primarily in summer but may be offered during the school year.Students attending training in two different sessions and/or academic semesters/summers may receive credit for the first session and audit the course for the next session.Pass/Fail.
