Personal Biography

Dr. Stacy McNeill has taught college courses in the communication field for three decades, and has served in administrative roles for one decade. Dr. McNeill is the current Dean of Academic Enrichment at C of O. She holds a master's degree in Communication, with an emphasis in Organizational Communication, from the University of Arkansas-Fayetteville and a doctorate in Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis from the University of Missouri. Dr. McNeill teaches courses in communication law, interpersonal communication, and public speaking. She is a member of Lambda Pi Eta, a national communication honor society.

Description

Prerequisites: MUS 213and Junior or Senior level. This course is a survey of Western art music beginning with the Classical era works of Haydn, Mozart and Beethoven, continuing through the Romantic era of the 19th century, and concluding with serial, electronic and experimental music of the 20th century. It will include important genres such as symphony, chamber music, keyboard works, opera, art song, and choral music. Spring
