Description

Prerequisite: Admission to the Nursing Program, ENG 103, MAT 133. This beginning course introduces the student to the character of nursing profession, the Department of Nursing's philosophy, Nightingale conceptual framework, program outcomes, and the nursing process. The caring philosophy, historical, spiritual and cultural considerations, nursing theories, and legal/ethical aspects of safe nursing practice are introduced. (F)
