Description

Prerequisites: NSG 363andNSG 348with minimum grade of C (2.0). This course studies advanced medical-surgical care of the adult patient from a Biblical worldview. An emphasis is placed on utilizing evidence-based findings, informatics, correlating and analyzing critical assessment data, and promoting a nourishing environment for healing. Medication therapies that correlate with advanced patient care are incorporated. Students will practice patient-centered care for diverse patients in a variety of medical-surgical and specialty units, working with the interdisciplinary team to integrate care within the in-patient, out-patient, and simulation settings. 135clinical hours.
