Description

Prerequisite(s): POL 103 or POL 113 or CJS 273. This course examines the United States Constitution and its interpretation by the U.S. Supreme Court, especially in their decision making. It examines the nature and scope of judicial review, the constitutional relationships between levels and branches of government, and the civil liberties and civil rights of individuals. An in-depth study of U.S. Supreme Court decisions will be emphasized, with particular focus on the political, moral and social impacts these decisions have on society, Spring
