Present interests: Spanish cultural studies / Latinos in the United States

Description

Prerequisite: SPA 213. Intensive discussion of current events, especially from Hispanic countries, based on articles and videos from Spanish-language media. Students seek out news items to bring and present to the class for discussion. Special emphasis on vocabulary building. May be repeated once. Offered Occasionally
