Personal Biography

Kenneth (Kenny) E. Garrison was a non-typical college student leaving the family farm at age 26 to receive his bachelor's degree at age 30. He has a Midwest education, highlighted with a BA (biology/chemistry major) from Drury University, a Ph.D. in the area of analytical chemistry from the University of Missouri-Columbia, and an NCI post-doctoral fellowship from the University of Kansas-Lawrence. His immediate family includes his wife: Karen, and his three kids: Nathan, Lauren and Parker.

Description

A course designed for students who wish to use chemistry as a partial fulfillment of the general education requirement or as part of the chemistry requirements of an Agriculture major or Pre-nursing program. This course is not acceptable as credit toward a chemistry or biology degree. There are three hours of lecture per week and one two-hour laboratory each week. Fall/Spring
