Personal Biography

Kenneth (Kenny) E. Garrison was a non-typical college student leaving the family farm at age 26 to receive his bachelor's degree at age 30. He has a Midwest education, highlighted with a BA (biology/chemistry major) from Drury University, a Ph.D. in the area of analytical chemistry from the University of Missouri-Columbia, and an NCI post-doctoral fellowship from the University of Kansas-Lawrence. His immediate family includes his wife: Karen, and his three kids: Nathan, Lauren and Parker.

Description

This course is the second in the chemistry research series. Students will complete most of the laboratory work for the project chosen in CHE 351. Topics covered will include laboratory and spectroscopic methods as well as data handling, analysis and statistics. (F)
