Description

Prerequisite: ECN 203 or ECN 213 or permission. This course examines both the theory and practice of international trade and finance. Topics studied will include the basis for mutually advantageous trade, tariffs and other barriers, balance of payments, foreign exchange, trade regulations, and industrial policy. The overall objective is to apply economic concepts to the phenomenon of international trade to enhance our understanding of the expanding global economy. Spring-Even
