Personal Biography

Dr. Stacy McNeill has taught college courses in the communication field for three decades, and has served in administrative roles for one decade. Dr. McNeill is the current Dean of Academic Enrichment at C of O. She holds a master's degree in Communication, with an emphasis in Organizational Communication, from the University of Arkansas-Fayetteville and a doctorate in Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis from the University of Missouri. Dr. McNeill teaches courses in communication law, interpersonal communication, and public speaking. She is a member of Lambda Pi Eta, a national communication honor society.

Description

Required of all full-time students (students successfully completing Base Camp will not enroll in this course). First-year Experience is an eleven-week seminar required of all entering students at College of the Ozarks. Designed to assist students in the successful transition to the academic culture of the College, this course focuses on the mindsets, habits, and strategies necessary for students to take charge of their own academic success. This is a pass/fail course. Fall/Spring
