Hello!
This course shell was created as a way to easily distribute instruction sheets, instruction videos, and course organizational strategies as we move to online teaching. It has been a collaborative effort. If there are questions about any of the materials, authors have been identified in the name or description of each one.
In Bookmarks, David Vogt has posted a video called Campusweb Overview in the How to Videos set.
Each faculty member on campus has a Faculty Online Teaching Mentor assigned to them (Thank you Brad Pardue for constructing it). This list is in the Handouts in Faculty Collaboration. It is also available in the photo icon at the bottom of the screen. Click it to open it.
However, if you have questions, I am happy to assist. My cellular number is 417-545-0440 and my email is rhendrix@cofo.edu

Bookmarks has an example of a video link in it. As we navigate online teaching, you might find it interesting. It also has a link to a blog about online teaching. Finally, it has links to online video resources that may be helpful for your classes.
Although Chat is available, it requires being online at a prescribed time. This may not be possible for some students. Using Forums is a good alternative for creating classroom interaction.
Coursework displays a variety of class materials that can be collected through online means. Feel free to open them to see the settings used within them. Note that each of these examples is also connected to the example unit (Example Assignments for Students) as if they are being delivered as part of that unit. There is also an Example Unit that shows a way to deliver course materials to students (Example Unit for Course Delivery).
Forums has an example question and response area. Please answer it yourself to see how it functions for students.
Handouts has an example unit (Example Unit for Course Delivery) that includes PowerPoints and PDFs of lectures in it. Handouts also has folders in it that have instruction sheets to do a variety of tasks on CampusWeb for both instructors and students. One of these is a folder to Overcome Glitches. To match an instruction sheet with an example assignment in Coursework, look at the column labeled Type on the Coursework page. Finally, Handouts also has instruction sheets on how to grade using CampusWeb functions.
Using CampusWeb is a unit for students that was added. It tells them how to use basic functions to navigate the system. Feel free to copy the content in this unit to supply to your own students.
Week 1 provides an example instructional plan.
Example Page for Course Delivery shows a way to deliver course materials to students.
To see how all of these things tie together for students, go to the top right and click in the box that says Current view: Faculty. Change it to read View as: Students and then click Change View.
