Topics include real and complex numbers, factoring, solving linear and non-linear equations and inequalities in one variable, and applications of equations. Many course topics will be illustrated with calculators and/or computers. Does not satisfy General Education requirements and does not count toward 125 total hours required. Students enrolled in this course will not be allowed to drop it from their semester scheduleand are allowed a maximum of two opportunities to pass the course. Students who pass MAT 013 must complete the appropriate college-level math class the following semester.Materials fee required. Pass/Fail. Fall/Spring
