PHY 1004

An introductory course in the physical sciences designed primarily for non-science majors. This course covers important topics in physics and astronomy. Three hours of lecture and one two-hour lab per week. As a 100-level course, “Students will demonstrate the cognitive recall and comprehension of foundational knowledge in the respective area of study.” In the case of PHY 1004, this means that students will understand and relate concepts related to the physical world.
