Description
Prerequisite: REL 183CC . This course surveys the world surrounding the people, places and times of the Old and New Testaments. Topics include the geography of the land in which the biblical story takes place; the history of the people and nations with which the biblical characters interact; and the social and economic structures that were involved in the development of the nation of Israel.
