Description

Prerequisite: SOC 203 or permission. The focus of this class will be to study the pivotal social role that families have in our society. The social relationship between dysfunctional individuals and their families of origin will be examined with emphasis being given to the role of the social worker in helping families cope with the stress and multiple problems that often emerge.
