Personal Biography

Dr. Stacy McNeill has taught college courses in the communication field for three decades, and has served in administrative roles for one decade. Dr. McNeill is the current Dean of Academic Enrichment at C of O. She holds a master's degree in Communication, with an emphasis in Organizational Communication, from the University of Arkansas-Fayetteville and a doctorate in Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis from the University of Missouri. Dr. McNeill teaches courses in communication law, interpersonal communication, and public speaking. She is a member of Lambda Pi Eta, a national communication honor society.

Description

Prerequisite: SPC 103. A study of the theoretical and practical principles of group dynamics. Leadership, participation, techniques, types of discussion, consideration of small group dimensions, conflict management, listening and the influence of cooperation and competition on small group communication are discussed and practiced.
